Progression is Necessary

It’s been a while since I last wrote. My hands have been full with getting our East Harlem store opened with Nick. We opened on Friday, March 3rd at 1642 Lexington Avenue between 103rd St and 104th St. We gave away a free scoop of ice cream to everyone who showed up between 5pm and 6pm. Almost 200 people showed up in that hour! We have been so pleased with how the store is being received and look forward to a busy spring and summer.

In the lead up to opening, I shared two behind-the-scenes stories about finding the store location and the artist who painted the portrait murals in the East Harlem and Broadway stores. Take a moment to read them if you need some encouragement or motivation around patience, perseverance, God’s/the Universe’s timing, or Divine Order. I’ve included some images from the opening below, but check out our Instagram post that includes a round up of images and video from opening day.

I continue to enjoy working with clients one-on-one to help them transition out of work that no longer serves their lifestyle needs. I’ve also been working with a group of women to help them grow their businesses through a six-month mastermind that I launched in January.

It has been such an honor to bear witness to folks changing jobs and industries, receiving $40K pay bumps, and launching new businesses. As an Enneagram 2, being helpful is in my nature. Working as a coach helps me do that and I know I would not have gotten here without leaning into being your local ice cream lady.

If you know new moms who have recently delivered or who will be delivering soon, let them know about the New Mom’s Group waiting list. I’m going to be releasing the dates for the next group soon. And, finally, mark your calendars for our free First Saturday drop art workshop organized and led by Color Wink Studio at the Lenox store. We’ve been hosting them for the last six months and we’d love to see you and your kiddos there next month.

Looking forward to sharing more mom musings with you soon.

My best,

Petrushka
Your Local Ice Cream Lady & Life/Business Coach
