Lots

I’ve been up since 4:45am. We were invited to participate in Infatuation’s EEEEEATSCON, a two-day food festival, and EatOkra’s first Creative Culinary Conference. Both took place this weekend.

Nick and I worked with our team at EEEEEATSCON yesterday and our General Manager and I worked with another team member at EatOkra today while Nick held it down at EEEEEATSCON.

I was honored that we were invited to both of these events, but I was concerned about how we’d staff five stores as well. But you know what? You don’t accomplish anything great alone! It takes teamwork to make the dream work.

I can barely feel my body anymore because I’ve been standing, serving ice cream, talking to customers, and networking with other business owners for just about all of my waking hours over the last two days.

Melba!! stopped by our booth at EatOkra’s conference to say, “Hi!”

Coco of The Little Fat Girl and I grabbed a picture at her EatOkra booth (stay tuned for a collab)

All I have to share with you this evening is a grateful spirit resting in a fatigued body.

Nothing extraordinary in our lives is done alone.
